About Kirk Anderson:
Longtime tennis instructor Kirk Anderson is the USTA's director of recreational coaches and programs.
In 2003, the International Tennis Hall of Fame honored him with its Tennis Educational Merit Award. Three years later, Racquet Sports Industry named him as its 2006 Champions of Tennis Person of the Year.
Anderson is one of the co-directors of the USTA Tennis Teachers Conference, which draws hundreds of teaching pros to an annual gathering just before the U.S. Open begins in late August in New York City.
About Ann Davis:
Anne Davis, the USTA's product manager of recreational programming, is the innovator of QuickStart Tennis, which allows children to have a successful experience learning and playing tennis.
Davis coached the Florida State University women's tennis team from 1979 to 1986.
