The Coach
Carol Price-Torok, the 2018 Missouri Valley Conference Coach of the Year and former UTSA assistant coach will enter her third season as UTSA's head coach in 2024. She previously spent six years as the head coach at Bradley, leading the program to success.
She began her coaching career in 2005 at Southwestern University, where the Pirates captured the SCAC Conference Championship and earned an NCAA Division III Tournament bid.
As a standout athlete at Texas A&M, Price-Torok was part of four NCAA Tournament teams. She started as a middle blocker during her freshman and sophomore years before transitioning to outside hitter for her final two seasons. Named the team’s 2003 Offensive MVP, she also earned Big 12 Player of the Week honors twice in her senior year and was recognized as a second-team Big 12 Scholar-Athlete. Her contributions helped the Aggies reach the NCAA Elite Eight in 2001 and the Sweet 16 in 2003.
