Kara Wallace

Kara Wallace was born on October 24th in Hutto, Texas. Her coaching journey is rooted in her own success as an athlete. She began her coaching career in 2008, a few years after being part of the Hutto team that won a state championship in 1999. This early victory fueled her passion for the sport and laid the foundation for her future as a coach.

Over the past 15 years, Wallace has built a reputation for developing players and fostering strong team dynamics, leading her teams to numerous district championships and playoff appearances. A significant milestone in her career came in 2024 when she coached the Flour Bluff Hornets to their first-ever UIL Class 5A Division I state championship. The team's historic run included a decisive victory over College Station in the semifinals and a championship win against McKinney North.

Beyond her professional achievements, Wallace is a devoted mother to three children: Jedidiah, Hezekiah, and Addi. Her story is a testament to her dedication, perseverance, and the balance she maintains between her personal life and her commitment to the sport and her community.
