  • Lesson 1:
Get a Grip on the Serve

     view description
    • With the proper grip, your wrist, elbow and shoulder move effortlessly and correctly through the serve, creating natural power.  Proper racket face angle at the point when you hit the ball as well as ease of movement are the result of correct grip placement.
      EXERCISES
      1. Practice holding the racket with the proper grip (Left bevel at an angle).
      2. Practice the movement with your hand and arm only.
      3. Feel the movement with ServeMaster.
      3. Introduce the racket and check your grip for proper placement.
** Practice these exercises without the ball to ensure that you FEEL the fluid movement while holding the correct grip.
