    Toss It UP!

     view description
    • Every great serve depends on the toss.  If your toss is off, then you'll never get the consistent results that you want out of your serve.  Let's learn 4 crucial points about the toss: light grip, flat wrist, straight elbow and your toss should come from your shoulder.

      EXERCISES
      1. Set up and slowly go through toss arm motion without releasing the ball.
      2. Release the ball and finish with fingers toward the sky.  Hold your finish for a count of 3.
      3. Use ServeMaster moving it slowly to learn toss tempo.
      4. Place your racket on the ground to learn correct placement and distance from your body for the toss .
