  • Developing a 3rd Down Package - Pressures by Chris Vasseur

    This course contains the main 3rd Down Pressures used over the past few years for Coach Vass' defenses.  It goes over the 3rd Down philosophy, pressure philosophy, breaking down each protection and plan of attack, Bluff/Mug looks, top pressure paths, and pressure coverages.  The course also includes film of each concept with detailed slides for each pressure.  

  • Developing a 3rd Down Package - Coverages by Chris Vasseur

    This course contains the main 3rd Down Coverages used over the past few years for Coach Vass' defenses.  It goes over the 3rd Down philosophy, coverage menu, Bluff/Mug looks, Coverages including 1 Double #, a coverage to double an opponents' best player, 2 Man, a Man Match Cover 2, a Trap variation off of that, and two Quarters man match variations: Bracket and Switch.  Each coverage contains detailed slides with assignments and film to illustrate the coverages.

  • Defending RPOs out of 1, 2, and 3-High with Even and Odd Fronts by Chris Vasseur

    This course includes a variety of schemes to defend RPOs. It starts with questions to ask, and a list of definite "musts" your defense must do when facing RPO teams.  The course then goes into various front and coverage combinations out of 2 High with Even fronts, 2 & 3 High with Odd fronts, 1 High with Even fronts, and 1 High with Odd fronts.  Each section has thorough slides and film to show examples of how each concept is played.
