Mississippi State did not disappoint in 2022 and it was another great example of the Air Raid Offense ran in its purest forms. Mississippi State features the many concepts that have made Mike Leach’s Offenses so fun for all these years including Mesh, Y-Cross, Tunnel, and Midzone. Inside this course we discuss how these concepts can be altered by formations, shifts, and motions along with many tags that can alter the schemes. All this can be extremely simple and easy for an offense to implement if you can properly teach them in a clean format. We discuss all of these ideas along with using a plethora of resources to help you fully understand the schemes and concepts:
Rules & Responsibilities laid out for each individual player
In-Depth Film Breakdown of in game examples
Playbook Sheets for you to review and get the full picture of the scheme
All-22 allowing you to study the concept for yourself
Downloadable Playbook for you to print out and go over
Every Offensive Coordinator is looking for ways to create easy and simple completions for their Quarterback. No one is better at doing so than Mike Leach inside his Air Raid Offense. He understands that even a short completion for 4-5 yards is as valuable as a run for 4-5 yards if not more because now you have the ball in the play-makers hands out in space with an opportunity to break for an explosive gain. This is a simple concept that if you learn how to install it properly can be a huge weapon in your offense. Inside this course you will learn how to incorporate it with FIB (Formation Into Boundary), execute it in goalline situations, make adjustments, and most importantly teach a simple yet extremely effective read for your QB!
The Air Raid Offense is all about capitalizing space, attacking green grass and forcing a defense to cover the entire field. Well what happens when that space gets shortened? When the Vertical aspect of the game becomes shorter and shorter as you close in on the endzone? The Air Raid still has a ton of answers built into the system. Whether that be the bread n’ butter concepts such as Mesh & Y-Corner or the adaption of bringing in a deadly swing-shallow concept that isolates the Boundary Will! Along with some great passing concepts there are also several answers within the Air Raid Rushing game that can be a huge weapon for your Redzone Offense!
Our goal is to teach you these concepts with tools such as:
A detailed account of Rules & Responsibilities
A walk through of an In-Game Example of the Concept
Taking you through several different things you could see when running the concept
Discussing the potential pit-falls or hiccups and how to avoid them, helping you troubleshoot issues BEFORE you deal with them on gameday
Providing All-22 for you to study the concept for yourself as well
Giving you a downloadable Playbook sheet for you to print out and use as a guide
