The Coach
Coach Williams was a four-sport athlete for the Mineola High School Yellow jackets. He also played four years of baseball at the collegiate level - Paris Junior College and Henderson State University. He continued his baseball career as a twelfth-round draft pick with the Texas Rangers in 1991 and played six years of professional baseball in the minors. Coach Williams began his coaching career in Brenham where he spent twenty-three years. He joined the Cedar Park staff two years ago and finished his 9th year as a head coach. He has compiled a 196-96-4 record. As a varsity coach he has been to the State Tournament five times and has won one State Championship. Coach Williams and his wife, Vickie have been married for 28 years. They have two grown daughters, Britney, and Jordyn and two grandsons Royce and Beau who all live in Belton. COACHING HONORS:
