The Coach
Monte Lee has been the head coach at Clemson University for 5 years where he has a 182-86 (.679) record. Those 182 wins are tied for 13th most in the nation during that time period. Monte has led the Tigers to the NCAA Tournament each of his first 4 seasons. The Tigers have gone 80-54 against ACC teams.
Monte has coached 8 All-Americans at Clemson. 26 different players have also gone on to be drafted during his tenure at Clemson University.
Before Clemson, Monte was the head coach for seven years at College of Charleston (2009-15). Lee has a 458-231 record (.665), including 12 winning seasons and eight NCAA Tournament appearances.
