Chance Westmoreland is the Head Girls’ Basketball Coach at Argyle High School and a veteran educator, coach, and athletic administrator with more than 23 years of coaching experience. For 15 years, he has served as a head girls’ basketball coach and assistant athletic director, developing championship-level programs built on discipline, accountability, attention to detail, and strong team culture.
Throughout his career, Coach Westmoreland’s teams have won five state championships and made nine state tournament appearances during his 15 seasons as a head coach. He holds an outstanding 479–88 career record, reflecting a sustained commitment to excellence and winning habits.
Coach Westmoreland is passionate about developing athletes beyond the court by teaching leadership, toughness, accountability, discipline, and the importance of doing the little things right.
