Brooke Stoehr - La Tech Univ. GIRLS  (COURT DEMO)

Brooke Stoehr was named the seventh head coach in Lady Techster basketball history

in April of 2016. During her first seven seasons, Coach Stoehr has led the Lady

Techster program to four postseason berths, including an automatic selection after

winning the 2022 Conference West Division title. Her most recent postseason

selection followed a 19-12 campaign during the ‘22-‘23 season, which produced backto-

back 19-plus win seasons for the first time in the program since 2010 and 2011. She

has also produced back-to-back double-digit conference wins since her first two

seasons in Ruston. Stoehr has recruited and developed All-Conference players such as

the 2022 Conference USA Preseason Player of the Year, Keiunna Walker, who

graduated as the No. 6 scorer in program history. Off the court, the Lady Techsters have

made continuous strides in the classroom, with a team cumulative GPA of 3.45 this past

spring and over her seven years, having 41 players named to the Conference USA

Commissioner's Honor Roll. Stoehr came back to her alma mater after four successful years at Northwestern State, where she guided the Lady Demons to three postseason tournaments, including a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances. In addition to her time at Northwestern State, Stoehr spent time as an assistant coach at Texas Tech (’09-12), Southern Mississippi (‘08-‘09), LA Tech (‘05-‘08) and UALR (‘03-‘05). Brooke and husband Scott have a 13-year-old daughter, Aubrey, and an 11-year-old son, Cooper.
