Todd Sutherland - East Chambers HS BOYS (COURT DEMO)

Todd Sutherland, originally from Moss Bluff, Louisiana, is the current head basketball coach at East Chambers High School.  After graduating from McNeese University in Louisiana, he immediately came to Texas.  He has been the head basketball coach at East Chambers (twice), West Orange Stark, Kountze, and Hardin Jefferson.  During his 37 years as a coach (30 as a head coach), he has had many achievements: winning two state championships (Kountze 2004, Hardin Jefferson 2007), 8 state tournament appearances, 23 district championships, 16 regional tournament appearances, and having 904-188 as an overall record. In his career, he is grateful for his great assistants, players, and support system. His continuous goals are always to model how to be a good husband, employee, father, and friend so that his players and students can do the same. He attributes his success as a coach to his wife of forty-one years, Jenny Ney Sutherland. In his free time, he spends time with his wife, supports LSU and Texas Tech Red Raiders, and attends Church events with his family, especially his grandchildren.
