In this course, Uconn Head Coach Dan Hurley discusses his philosophy and drills used by the Huskies to create an effective defense. Coach Hurley shows drills used to teach stance, movement, adjustments as well as how to guard various actions on offense. The Coach
Dan Hurley currently coaches the University of Connecticut men's basketball team. Hurley was named head coach of the Huskies on March 22, 2018, after six years at the University of Rhode Island and two years at Wagner College. Prior to Wagner, Hurley was head coach of Saint Benedict's Preparatory School, where he is credited with building the New Jersey school into one of the top high school basketball programs in America.
Hurley is the youngest son of Hall of Fame high school coach Bob Hurley.
The NJ Basketball Coaches Association (NJBCA) launched our inaugural NJBCA Membership Drive with a Virtual Coaching Clinic during the weekend of November 13th – 15th, 2020.
