Diogo Cunha is the under 14 Coordinator and Premier Coach for the 2020/21 season - CITY OF BIRMINGHAM ROCKETS BASKETBALL.

Diogo, from Portugual, started coaching in the youth sector of SL Benfica before moving to the UK to study Sports Management and gained experience coaching for two seasons, assisting the female teams of the University of Warwick and then Coventry.

Last year Diogo coached in Spain, at CD Mutilbasket. He has gained valuable experience working in summer camps in Portugal, Spain (Pau Gasol Academy) and Belgium (Elite Athletes). Diogo commented, “ I like to learn and study the game as much as I can, and developing good relationships with the people working around me.” Rockets MD, Rob Palmer said, “Diogo’s philosophies match the club perfectly.
