Sean Doherty/ Head Coach of the Hamden Hall Varsity
Sean Doherty is the current Head Coach of the Hamden Hall Varsity Boys’ Basketball team and brings over 20 years of collegiate coaching experience as he coaches the Quinnipac Bobcats assistant Men's Basketball Coach. In his first two seasons as Head Coach of the Hornets they have won the Fairchester League regular season and Playoff Championships both seasons (2017-18 & 2018-19) and qualified for the Class B NEPSAC Tourney in each of those years. Doherty’s vast coaching experience has produced seven NCAA Tournament appearances and countless all-conference players. Prior to Quinnipiac, he served as the head coach at Salem State (Mass.) College for four years.
