Born on June 6, 1999, in Póvoa de Varzim, a city north of Porto. This is his fourth year as a coach, he has gone through 2 clubs and several experiences. Coach Afonso is passionate about basketball. He was an athlete from 2007 to 2016, that is, for 9 years always at Clube Desportivo da Póvoa, a club in his city. Then, he decided to follow the path of a basketball coach and this has been his path ever since:
