Special Olympics Texas Basketball Coach Training

Description

The Official Special Olympics Sports Rules for Basketball shall govern all Special Olympics competitions. As an international sports program, Special Olympics has created these rules based upon International Basketball Federation (Fédération Internationale de Basketball) (FIBA) rules for basketball found at http://www.fiba.com. FIBA or National Governing Body (NGB) rules shall be employed except when they are in conflict with the Official Special Olympics Sports Rules for Basketball or Article I. In such cases, the Official Special Olympics Sports Rules for Basketball shall apply.

The questions don't match the presenter's overview. For example: dead ball is not mentioned by the presenter. This can be done better. Please review and update. I took the Volleyball Course. The material and questions match. The course helped during our last volleyball game. I rather take an in person class that go through this.

I watched the 1st video twice and never saw the dead ball mentioned. Since the video is only 10 minutes, the one hour wait to retest seems a waste of time. We do not play unified, and those explanations took the longest. I've coached for years, so not sure why this is necessary. The power points are helpful, as long as they show everything you need to know.

Overall the review of rules was good. I don't understand why you force people to wait one hour before retaking the quiz. To rewatch the entire presentation is ~12-15 minutes. Forcing someone to wait one hour is simply wasting peoples' time. Why would you need to retry the quiz?...See private comments.
