Coach Vickie Benson is the Head Girls’ Basketball Coach at Westlake High School in Austin, Texas, with more than 25 years of coaching experience. She is recognized for her commitment to holistic student-athlete development, leadership, and building successful basketball programs.

Coach Benson recently led Westlake to a 40-win season and its first state finals appearance in three decades, earning District 26-6A Coach of the Year honors. She has also surpassed 500 career wins, marking a significant milestone in her coaching career.

Beyond the court, Coach Benson serves as President of the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC), where she has contributed to coach development and professional education.
