The Coach
Kara Stracener has been the Head women’s soccer coach at Canyon Lake High School for the past six years. In her 3rd season at Canyon Lake, she led the team to more wins in school history and to the regional quarter finals in seasons ‘21, ‘22 and ‘24. Before Canyon Lake, she was at San Antonio Johnson for ten years, seven years as the head coach. She led the team to two state tournament appearances in 2011 and 2013 and multiple regional tournament appearances.
