About the Coaches:
Dave McKinney is the Head Football Coach at Winfield High School. In 2021, the Pirates were 12-1 and finished second in their region. Coach McKinnet has a career record of 126-51 and is in his 7th year at Winfield.
Jeff Kelly is the Head Coach at Saraland HS. After starting at quarterback at Southern Miss and a short stint with the Seattle Seahawks, Coach Kelley entered the high school coaching ranks. He has a career record of 151-68 and has brought the Spartans to the state championship game twice. The Spartans finished 10-3 in 2021.
Kevin Creasy is the head football coach at Oakland HS in Tennessee. He has a career record of 146-18. He went 79-12 in seven seasons at Trousdale County (2008-14) and won state championships in 2008, 2009 and 2013. Since going to Oakland, he has led the Patriots to an 86-6 record and has added two more state championships and a runner-up finish to his resume.
Brent Pry was officially named Virginia Tech head coach on November 30, 2021. He joined the Hokies after serving the past eight seasons as defensive coordinator/linebackers coach at Penn State.
Bryan Harsin was named Auburn’s 28th head football coach on December 22, 2020. Harsin spent the previous seven seasons as head coach at Boise State where he compiled a 69-19 record while winning three Mountain West Conference titles.
Mike Leach, a two-time national coach of the year, three-time Power 5 conference coach of the year and the mastermind behind the NCAA record-setting “Air Raid” offense, was tabbed Mississippi State’s 34th head football coach on January 9, 2020.
Mark Stoops inherited a program that was 2-10 in 2012, the year before he arrived, Stoops’ rebuilding efforts took time. Two games into the 2016 season his record was 12-26, but the program took off from there and the coach has engineered a 47-27 (63.5%) mark since.
Nick Saban - A man of vision who has a proven record of championship success, head coach Nick Saban has returned the University of Alabama to the top of the college football landscape with his commitment to building the total program. After the victory over Clemson in the 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship Game, Saban joined Paul "Bear" Bryant as the only two coaches to win five national titles in the modern era.
