Aman Anand begins his first season at Texas Southern as the running backs coach and special teams coordinator. He joined TSU after a successful three-year stint at Baylor University, where he served as a quality control coach for special teams. During his time at Baylor, Anand played a crucial role in elevating the Bears' special teams performance, earning recognition from FootballScoop.com on their 2022 Minority Watch List/Rising Stars. Before Baylor, he spent a season at Penn State, helping the Nittany Lions lead the Big Ten in blocked kicks and rank seventh in kickoff return defense.

Anand's coaching career includes positions as a graduate assistant at Memphis, Utah State, and Northern Arizona. He began his collegiate coaching journey at Old Dominion in 2011 and spent three years as a student assistant coach at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, where he also earned his undergraduate degree in interdisciplinary sciences and a master’s degree in educational leadership. Anand's diverse coaching experience and educational background make him a valuable addition to the Texas Southern football staff.
