Anthony Van Curen is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach for Fairleigh Dickinson University, a position he has held since 2022. He has been appointed as the sixth head football coach in FDU-Florham program history, a position he assumed after a national search. Van Curen has a deep-rooted history with the Devils, having served in multiple roles within the organization from 2014 to 2016 and again from 2019 to 2022. His positions included Video Coordinator, Defensive Line Coach, Academic Coordinator, Recruiting Coordinator, Special Teams Assistant, Defensive Coordinator, Interim Head Coach, and now Head Coach. His tenure has seen the transformation of the program into a competitive force within the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC). In his first official season as head coach in 2022, Van Curen led the team to a 6-5 overall record and a 4-4 MAC conference record, securing back-to-back appearances in the ECAC Bowl Championship.

Before his head coaching role, Van Curen guided the Devils to a historic 7-4 record in 2021, winning the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) James Lynah Bowl for the first time in the program's history. His defensive strategies earned lineman Kenny Hands All-America honors and the ECAC Defensive Player of the Year award. Van Curen’s defense held five opponents to 20 points or less in a single season, a feat last achieved in 1999. Before his time at FDU-Florham, Van Curen was a Graduate Assistant and Defensive Assistant at Rutgers University and served as an Assistant Defensive Coordinator at John S. Burke Catholic High School. Van Curen played at Division III St. John Fisher College, leading the team to the quarterfinals of the 2011 NCAA Championship Tournament.
