Brent Davis | Senior Analyst | Virginia Tech

Brent Davis, in his first season as a senior analyst at Virginia Tech and second overall with the Hokies, played a crucial role in enhancing their running game in 2023. As an offensive analyst, he helped the team rank 22nd nationally in rushing offense, with an average of 189.8 yards per game. Notably, Tech set a school record for rushing yards in a bowl game with 362 yards in a victory over Tulane in the Military Bowl. Before joining Virginia Tech, Davis spent nine seasons as the offensive coordinator at West Point, where the Army Black Knights consistently ranked among the nation's top rushing teams. Under his leadership, the Black Knights ranked in the top five for rushing offense in seven out of nine years, including leading the nation in 2017. They also achieved winning records in five out of six years and participated in five bowl games, winning four.

Davis's tenure at Army saw impressive offensive performances, with the team ranking second in the country in rushing offense in 2022, accumulating 3,473 yards and 38 rushing touchdowns. In 2021, Army led the nation in total rushing touchdowns and finished second in total rushing yards. Before his time at Army, Davis was the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Georgia Southern, where he led the team to three consecutive national semifinal appearances and top rushing offense rankings in 2011 and 2012. Davis also served as the offensive coordinator at VMI, where his teams led the Big South in rushing for four consecutive seasons. A former Academic All-SEC player, Davis graduated from the University of Georgia in 1997 with a degree in business management.
