Brett Bielema- Football 101
by IHSFCA Illinois High School Football Coaches AssociationDescription
The best way to learn the game is to simply watch. A clear understanding of the rules of the game is crucial. Once you know the rules you can begin developing your skillset. In other words, you need to study playbooks, watch the tape, and learn as much about the game as you can off the field. Then, you need to apply your knowledge when you are in the field. As the coach says, practice habits become game day reality and you realize good plays are the results of good fundamentals.
In this course, Coach Bret Bielema talks about the drills he incorporates into his staff that help develop and improve his offense, defense, and special teams. The “Football 101” guide is right here.
