Brian Taylor is in his fifth season as an assistant coach for the Coyote football team and his second as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. From 2017-19, he served as wide receivers coach, while, for the 2019 season, he served as the recruiting coordinator. He spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Pacific University, working with the tight ends and fullbacks. He is a former Pacific player and entered his third season as an assistant coach for the Boxer football program in 2016. Taylor's responsibilities include coaching tight ends and fullbacks. During his time as a player from 2010 to 2013, he was a consistent starter, missing just one game throughout his career. Originally from Lewiston, Idaho, Taylor showcased his skills at Lewiston High School, earning recognition as a two-time All-Inland Empire League selection in both tight end and linebacker positions. He graduated from Pacific in 2014 with a degree in exercise science and expanded his coaching role to include the Boxer track and field program in 2016.
