Casey DeAndrade returns to coach the defensive backs at UNH, the position he excelled at during his playing career, following three seasons coaching at Holy Cross. As a player, DeAndrade was a four-year starter for the Wildcats, serving as captain and earning first-team All-American honors in his senior year. He initially interned in strength and conditioning and quality control at UNH before coaching running backs for a year, and then moving on to his coaching stint at Holy Cross.

DeAndrade's playing career at UNH was marked by significant achievements, including helping the Wildcats reach the NCAA FCS semifinals in 2013 and 2014, and a perfect 8-0 mark in the Colonial Athletic Association in 2014. He concluded his collegiate career with impressive stats, including nine interceptions and 285 tackles, leading the team in tackles in 2017 and consistently ranking in the top four each season. During his tenure, the Wildcats amassed an overall record of 37-17.
