Tony White became the Defensive Coordinator at Nebraska in January of 2023.
He previously served as the defensive coordinator at Syracuse for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Before Syracuse, he was the defensive coordinator for Arizona State.
He is in his 17th season of coaching with Power Five experience at Syracuse, Arizona State and UCLA. White is in his fourth season as a defensive coordinator in 2023, and he held the title of interim defensive coordinator and defensive passing game coordinator at Arizona State and recruiting coordinator at San Diego State. White also spent one season as a high school head coach.
