Description

This course will give you several examples of how you can connect your football program to the community. Coach McElvany used these ideas while serving as the Head Football Coach at Dundee High School in Dundee, Michigan. During that time, Dundee High School and Coach McElvany were recognized by the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association twice for their outstanding community service efforts.

2007-2010- Swanton High School (OH.)- Assistant Head Coach; Offensive Coordinator; Varsity Offensive Line and Defensive Line

2011-2014- Anthony Wayne High School (OH.)- Varsity Offensive Line, Special Teams (OHSAA DIV. 1 state playoffs in 2011, Team Academic All State 11', 12', 13', 14', #1 Team GPA in state in 2014)

2015-2019- Dundee High School (MI.)- Head Football Coach; Offensive Coordinator, Offensive Line (Team Academic All State 15', 16', 17', 18', 19', #1 Team GPA in Div. 5 in 2019, 2019 Div. 5 State playoffs)

2020- present- St. Mary Catholic Central (MI.)- Special Teams Coordinator, Varsity Offensive & Defensive Line

 

2016 AFCA 30 Under 30 selection (1 of 3 high school coaches in the country chosen for the AFCA 30 Under 30 inaugeral class)
