The Coach
Damien Wroblewski | Assistant OL Coach | Maryland
Damian Wroblewski joined the Terrapins as the Assistant Offensive Line Coach in March 2024, he spent 25 years of college football coaching experience. Before Maryland, he spent five seasons at James Madison, where he served as the offensive line coach and Associate Head Coach for Offense. Wroblewski coached players to multiple All-America honors and all-conference accolades, contributing significantly to the team's offensive success. In 2022, his offensive line helped the team rank top-30 nationally in six offensive categories. In 2023, as the acting head coach for the Armed Forces Bowl, he led the team to an 11-2 season, starting with a 10-0 record.
Wroblewski's career also includes coaching at Elon, Rutgers, Delaware, Stony Brook, Hofstra, Penn, and Bryant. At Elon, his offensive line played a key role in back-to-back FCS Playoff appearances, producing All-Americans and NFL prospects. At Rutgers, he coached linemen to all-conference honors, and the team ranked eighth in the FBS for fewest sacks allowed in 2012. Wroblewski developed high-performing offensive lines and contributed to successful team offenses.
