Lecture Title: Man Coverage and Concepts at Age 13

My name is Darryl Hemphill and I was born in San Antonio, TX.  I attended Horace Mann Jr. High & Thomas Jefferson High School.  I’m a proud graduate of West Texas State University, where I was a 4-year football letterman and a 1982 draft pick by the New York Jets.  I played 5 years in 3 different professional football leagues (NFL, USFL & CFL).  I've taught and coached at Burbank H.S. (Defensive Backs) Holmes H.S. (Defensive Backs), Marshall H.S. (Defensive Coordinator), O'Connor H.S. (Head Coach) and Stevens H.S. (Defensive Coordinator / Head Coach).  I've spent the last 5 years in the Athletic Office here at "THE" Northside ISD (Facilities).  After 35 years in education, I'm officially retired.  Spending more time with my wife Glenda and our four kids, Anthony 35, Kelvyn 34, Carlton 26 and Nicole 21.  Not to forget our five Grandkids, Oliver 12, Vivian 8, Henry 8, Clark 3 and Charlotte 18 months. Building and Sustaining Relationships has been a passion in my journey. Sharing a little sample of that passion with your teams and organizations in the near future would be my honor.  Sharing Intentional Purpose.  Let’s get to know each other a little more!
