Dave Clawson is the Head Coach of Wake Forest. He began his coaching career back in 1989 as a GA at Albany, From 1990-1992, Coach Clawson started as the db’s coach and eventually became the quarterback coach at Buffalo. From 1993-1995, he was the running backs coach and offensive coordinator for Lehigh. Coach Clawson then moved on to become the offensive coordinator for Villinova from 1996-1998, before leaving to join Fordham as the head coach from 1999-2003. From 2004-2007 he took the head coaching position at Richmond before joining Tennessee as the offensive coordinator in 2008. Coach Clawson got another head coaching position at Bowling Green where he stayed for 5 years before moving to Wake Forest where he has been the head coach since 2014.
