In seven years as Head Coach at Ryan Coach Henigan has helped lead the Raiders to six straight undefeated regular seasons, six straight District Championships, a class 6A State Quarterfinal appearance, three class 5A State Semifinal appearances, a class 5A State Finals appearance, a class 5A State Championship and an 85-5 record the last six years. At Ryan, Coach Henigan has been named the District Coach of the Year six straight years. He was also named the Dallas Morning News Coach of the Year in 2019. In 2020, he was named the Tom Landry Coach of the Year, TSWA Class 5A Coach of the Year, and the National Football Foundation of Dallas Coach of the Year. As Offensive Coordinator at Denton Ryan, he helped lead the Raiders to a state title in 2002 and a state runner-up in 2003. He has been married to his wife Laurie for 24 years. She is a second grade teacher. He has three sons, Ian (20), Seth (18), and Quin (13).
