Eat the Captain Defense is about unique looks paired with unrelenting pressure on offenses. ETC defense is a state championship system of formation and/or scheme based pressures with a multiple series of alignment variations. Coach Holley has over 30 years experience of coaching defensive football as both a head coach and defensive coordinator at the high school and college levels. 3-3-5 Zone Pressures are the foundation of the ETC defense. Over 50% of the opposing offensive snaps have gone for 0 yards or less in each of the last 6 seasons.

Michael ODonnell

Coach Holley presents a unique pressure style of attacking the offense through multiple fronts. His concepts, while appearing highly unusual (because they are) are well grounded in fundamentals and a common sense approach. This is an excellent video for coaches looking at attacking with a non-traditional scheme.
