Gerard Wilcher, a Morehouse alum and former Maroon Tigers football player, has taken on the role of head football coach to revitalize the program after a long coaching career that includes stints in college and the NFL. After serving as the defensive back coach for the Rice Owls, Wilcher returned to Morehouse, where he now leads as head coach. With about four months under his belt in this new position, Wilcher has already begun making an impact, organizing football camps and sharing insights on his experience as head coach during events like the Mega Camp held on June 13.
