The Coach
Jared Ambrose joined the University at Albany as Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach in 2022, later becoming Associate Head Coach. Under his leadership, redshirt freshman quarterback Reese Poffenbarger excelled, earning CAA Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. Ambrose's offense also saw Tight End Thomas Greaney's breakout season, ranking sixth in the conference with 29.6 points per game. Previously, Ambrose achieved success at the University of Delaware, leading record-setting offenses to a CAA Championship and FCS Semifinals appearance in 2020-21.
