Jeff Traylor is the Head Coach of the UTSA football team. He began his career coaching at Big Sandy HS in Texas in 1989 as an assistant before joining the Jacksonville HS staff from 1992-1999. From 2000-2014 he was the head coach at Gilmer HS in Texas before leaving for the college world and joining Texas as the special teams/tight ends coach in 2015. From 2017-2019 Traylor was the assistant coach at SMU and Arkansas before becoming head coach at UTSA in 2020.
