Jon Mack has had a distinguished career as a football coach, coaching at both high school and college levels. He started his career at Notre Dame High School, coaching football and track, before moving on to Alemany High School, Loyola High School, and eventually settling at St. Bonaventure for 17 years as the Head Varsity Football Coach. During his time there, his teams were extremely successful, winning an impressive 12 league championships and 7 CIF championships. His leadership also led to three Cal-Hi Sports State Championships, solidifying his reputation as one of the top coaches in Ventura County history.

In 2007, Coach Mack moved on to Ventura College, where he continued his winning legacy, leading the team to a WSC Championship and a victory in the SO-CAL Bowl. His coaching skills have been widely recognized, earning him prestigious honors such as the NFL High School Coach of the Year Award in 2002 and the President Gerald R. Ford All-American Football Coach Award in 2006. In addition to his coaching achievements, Coach Mack has contributed significantly to the coaching community, serving as a clinician at various football clinics across the country.

In addition to his coaching career, Coach Mack is actively involved in community organizations such as the American Football Coaches Association and the California State Coaches Association. He has also demonstrated his commitment to giving back through charity events like the Pride Bowl charity game. Together with his wife Kathy and their three children, Coach Mack resides in Ventura, embodying leadership both on and off the field.
