Kevin Loney joined the Bowdoin football coaching staff in the summer of 2015. A veteran coach with over a decade of experience in the collegiate ranks, Loney heads up the running backs and is the player development coordinator for the Polar Bears. Loney was most recently the head coach at Nichols College for three seasons from 2011-13. An experienced defensive coach, his resume includes stops at Upper Iowa (defensive line), Notre Dame (graduate assistant, offense), Bethany (defensive coordinator) and Wesleyan (defensive line). Loney graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa. where he also competed for the outdoor track team in addition to playing football. He currenlty recruits the areas of California, Conneticut, Florida, and Texas.
