Mike Leach, head coach of the Mississippi State Bulldogs is a two-time national coach of the year, three-time conference coach of the year, and the mastermind behind the record-setting “Air Raid” offense.
He’s been the head coach at Texas Tech, Washington State, and was part of creating and making the Air Raid popular at the University of Kentucky with Hal Mumme in the 1990s. Prior to Kentucky, he served as Mumme’s offensive coordinator at Iowa Wesleyan and Valdosta State.
His offenses have broken numerous NCAA records.
