Milo Austin joined Elon University as the special teams coordinator and outside linebackers coach in January 2022, bringing with him a wealth of experience from various coaching positions. Austin's units consistently ranked among the best nationally, showcasing excellence in areas like field goals, punting, and punt return defense. As the outside linebackers coach, Austin also played a crucial role in developing players like Marcus Hillman, who had a standout season under his guidance, contributing significantly to Elon's defensive prowess.

Austin made significant contributions to programs like Texas Southern and Delaware State, where he elevated special teams performances and coached players to All-Conference honors. His coaching accolades include being named the AFCA Football Championship Subdivision Assistant Coach of the Year in 2018 for his coaching excellence and commitment to player development.
