The Coach

Chris Parker

Chris Parker served as a Head Football Coach, Athletic Director, and school District Athletic Director for many years. Parker was the Head Football Coach at Chapel Hill High School in Douglasville, GA and Pickens High School in Jasper, GA. He took over both schools when they were struggling and turned them into winning programs. Teams at both schools set school records for wins, playoff appearances, and playoff victories. He led the best seasons in school history at both schools and helped them both win their 1^st state playoff game.

As the District Athletic Director of Pickens County Schools, Parker presided over all high school and middle school sports programs in the district. During Parker’s tenure, the district pursued multiple major capital improvements to the athletic facilities, set new highs for money raised, championships, and scholarship athletes.

Parker acts as a consultant for Coaches and Athletic Directors through Parker Resources. He has written several best-selling books. Parker Resources has a weekly podcast for coaches and posts regular tips on social media. Parker is also the co-host of 92.9 The Game High School Show in Atlanta.
