Mike Toerper | Head Coach | Ithaca College
Michael Toerper was named as the 11th head coach of the Ithaca College football program on February 18, 2022.
In his first season as head coach in 2022, Toerper guided the Bombers to one of the most historic seasons in program history. The Bombers finished 12-1 and reached the NCAA Division III Quarterfinals. Ithaca College secured its first undefeated regular season since 1986 and claimed its first outright Liberty League title with a 31-28 win over Union.
Toerper served as the defensive coordinator for the Bombers from 2017-19. He went on to become the safeties coach at Division I Holy Cross for two seasons helping to turn Crusaders' defense into one of the top units in the FCS in 2021.
Toerper spent seven years at Johns Hopkins and one season at Duquesne University.
