The Moore Method
by THE MOORE METHODDescription
The Moore Method “OL University” is a comprehensive and unprecedented opportunity to learn the fundamentals and difference making details of the offensive line methodology used throughout the storied legacy of Coach Joe Moore, widely regarded as one of the best offensive line coaches in college football history.
Through The Moore Method, coaches and players from every level will learn how to implement the same principles, technique, details, and mindset that allowed Coach Moore to send 52 of his lineman to the NFL in just 18 seasons, many of whom are in the Pro Football and College Football Hall of Fames. Coaching most notably at Pitt and Notre Dame, Moore was instrumental in developing dozens of All-Americans as well, including Bill Fralic, Russ Grimm, Jimbo Covert, Mark Stepnowski, Jim Sweeney, Andy Heck, Tim Ruddy, Tim Grunhard, Aaron Taylor, and Mark May.
Presented by Joe Moore disciple and accomplished o-line coach, Harry Hiestand (Illinois ’97-‘04, Chicago Bears ’05-’09 & ’18-19’, Tennessee ’10-’11, & Notre Dame ’12-’17, ’22), this course provides a thorough and detailed examination of the time-tested philosophy and teaching fundamentals of a legacy that is second to none. Hiestand’s legacy includes multiple All-Americans, 1st Round draft picks, and All-Pros, including Olin Kreutz, Zach Martin, Ronnie Stanley, Quenton Nelson, and Mike McGlinchey.
This almost 4-hour course is easy to understand and digest. The Moore Method “simplifies the complex” for the young player and coach, yet still provides incredible detail that even the most seasoned coaches will appreciate. The teaching progressions are supported with film throughout the entire cycle, from install, to walk thru, practice cuts, and game film. This course is designed with busy players and coaches in mind, and most modules are broken into videos that are no more than 9 minutes in length.
