The Coach

Rhett Peltier

Coach Peltier has 20 years of high school football coaching experience with the most recent four as Running Backs Coach and Special Teams Coordinator at Destrehan High School. For the last four seasons, Peltier has assisted the Destrehan football program in semi-final (2018, 2020, 2021) and state final (2019) appearances.

Before his current position at Destrehan High School, Peltier served as the Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach for 10 years at Loreauville High School (2008-2018) and Head Football Coach (2017-2018). There, he orchestrated a spread offense that set many school offensive records that helped lead to 9 playoff appearances.

Prior to his time at Loreauville, Peltier served as Offensive Line Coach at Patterson High School (2007-2008). That season resulted in a semi-final appearance. Before this, he was the Offensive Line Coach at Catholic High-New Iberia (2004-2007). In addition to playoff appearances each of these three years, it also included a quarterfinal appearance (2006).

Peltier started his coaching career at Hanson High School as the Running Backs and Linebackers Coach after receiving his Master’s of Science degree from Louisiana State University.

Great stuff here Coach! Anyone can just line up and run a play, but to truly be successful an offense must have answers for defensive adjustments. The "counter punches" and progressions you present here can definitely take advantage of and exploit a defense. Coach Peltier does an excellent job of explaining how to package his base running play (inside zone) with the swing screen. Coach Peltier’s Constraint plays (what I call answer plays) outline how to exploit and attack any response the defense can give. I highly recommend this course to any number of people: 1. If you run inside zone, you should purchase this course as you will learn how to create an entire series off of IZ. 2. If you want to add RPO concepts to your offense, you should purchase this course as Coach Peltier does an excellent job sharing his thought process of how to put the defense in a bind. 3. If you are a defensive coach, you should purchase this course to see how offenses are manipulating your defense. I intend to incorporate some of Coach Peltier’s concept into my offense.

Great course that gives you a simple (for your qb) presnap RPO that will be allow you to take what the defense gives you. Diagrams and video do a great job of explaining base plays (inside zone) with swing screen. Also details several constraint plays that give you answers for when the defense is trying to take away your base plays. 100% recommend.
