TJ Rushing - Texas A&M
TJ Rushing, a coaching veteran, and Super Bowl Champion, joined the Texas A&M Football staff in 2020 as the defensive backs coach. He comes to Texas A&M after spending two years at Memphis as the defensive backs coach and passing game coordinator. He has also made coaching stops at Arizona State, Stanford, and Northern Arizona. Prior to his coaching years, he had an impressive playing career as well. He was known as an outstanding cornerback and a return specialist at Stanford University. He finished his Stanford career as one of the top three kick returners in school history. After graduating from Stanford, he was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2006 NFL Draft. Rushing played four seasons with the Colts and helped them win the Super Bowl his rookie year and made another Super Bowl appearance three years later. Rushing also played a season with the Detroit Lions before spending a season in the Canadian football league. Two years later his full-time coaching career began in 2014 at Northern Arizona. The Oklahoma native is a great tradition to Jimbo Fisher’s staff at Texas A&M and he goes onto his fourth season with the Aggies this fall.
