Jerry Gordon is currently the defensive coordinator at Nauset Regional High School located in Eastham, MA.  Gordon began his football career as a walk-on at the University of Massachusetts in 1979. He went on to become a three year starter on the offensive line, earning a full scholarship and becoming one of the few players in University of Massachusetts history to become a two-time captain.  University of Massachusetts won or shared three Yankee Conference football championships in that period.

Gordon has coached with the Boston Breakers (USFL), Northeastern University, University of Massachusetts, Yale University, Sandwich (MA) High School, Potomac Falls (VA) High School, Woodgrove (VA) High School and Broad Run (VA) High School.

Gordon is a well-known speaker having spoken at many various clinics including Glazier Clinics, Nike COY Clinics, and The Big New England Football Clinic.

Gordon has appeared on many of your favorite podcasts including: USA Football’s Coach and Coordinator Podcast with Keith Grabowski, Make Defense Great Again Podcast, Run the Power Podcast and the Coach McKie Football Podcast

Gordon's  2020 Nike COY presentation was published in the Nike COY Manual in 2020. As well as writing numerous Internet articles, Gordon has had articles published in Gridiron Magazine and an article published in Success Magazine.    

Gordon is the author of two well received books:  Coaching the Under Front Defense, and Split Field Coverages.

Gordon and his wife Carol, currently reside in Chatham, MA.  Gordon is the proud stepfather to two children, Erik and Jennifer, and has four granddaughters: Ella, Beatrice, Macie, and Kendall.
