Will Blanden is a football coach who specializes in defense and special teams and has a wealth of experience in the field. He currently holds the position of Assistant Coach/Defensive Passing Game Coordinator at Cornell University, where he has been an integral part of the team since joining in 2021. Before joining Cornell, Blanden spent eight years at Bloomsburg University, where he held several coaching roles, including Interim Defensive Coordinator and Special Teams Coordinator. Blanden has also worked at Nichols College and Western Connecticut State University.

Throughout his coaching career, Blanden has demonstrated his ability to develop players, with many of his athletes earning prestigious accolades such as All-Ivy League recognition and All-American honors. His teams have achieved remarkable success on the field, making NCAA Division II Playoff appearances and achieving impressive records.

In addition to his coaching experience, Blanden has a solid playing background, having played football and basketball at Howard University. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Howard University and an MBA with a concentration in Sports Management from Nichols College. Blanden's commitment to coaching excellence is evident through his involvement in coaching academies and volunteer work at football camps, showcasing his dedication to both player development and community engagement.
