Drew Sanders is the Head Coach & Athletics Coordinator at Vandegrift High School in Texas.

• Drew Sanders grew up in Mexia, Texas, where he played for the Blackcats and earned a District Championship in his final year. He also received Second Team All-District honors and was a Team Captain.

• After graduation, he earned a four-year academic scholarship and attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX. There, he played football and also coached.

• During his time at Hardin-Simmons University, he was part of four Conference Championship teams.

• He graduated with a Major in Kinesiology and a Minor in English. He was also a three-time Academic All-Conference.

• As the head coach of Vandegrift High School, he led the Vipers to the 6A Division II UIL Football State Championship against DeSoto.

Drew Sanders has shown his commitment to the development of his players both on and off the field, and his teams have consistently performed well under his leadership
