Bigelow, who played on the Bears’ football team from 2006-09, returns to his alma mater for 2013 as the team's director of operations.Bigelow was an offensive graduate assistant at Northern Colorado in 2010 before spending two years at Tulsa as the defensive graduate assistant. With the Bears, Bigelow will work with all aspects of travel and meals, as well as community and alumni functions and various other duties. In addition to his work on the gridiron, Bigelow also owns his own company, BigDunks LLC, that produces mobile applications.
On the field, Bigelow is best known for his game-winning field goal against Montana State on Oct. 27, 2007 that gave the Bears their first-ever win in Big Sky Conference play. With four seconds remaining, he made a 37-yarder, his third field goal of the game, to lift the team to a 16-13 victory. In a career cut short due to injury, Bigelow was 7-for-8 in career extra points and 3-for-5 in field goals, scoring 16 points. Bigelow graduated from Northern Colorado in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in business management and received a master's degree in business administration in 2013.
