Purpose of the Course:This course is designed for individuals interested in joining the global Floorball community. Completion of the course gives access to the resources found at www.floorballacademy.com. It is from this site that community members may also access coaching courses in the future, should they choose. The goal of this course is to establish a membership program across National Floorball Associations and to help grow the sport of Floorball.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of the Floorball Community Course, the learner will:
1. Understand the general history of Floorball
2. Understand and recognize the general rules and infractions of Floorball
3. Integrate the Floorball Code while playing, coaching, spectating, or officiating
4. Be able to identify the major similarities between Floorball, Hockey, and other sports
5. Be able to help grow the sport of Floorball within their community
